Chapter History
Alpha Upsilon Lambda

             Alpha Upsilon Lambda was founded in 1932 at the home of H. Councill Trenholm.  In 1934, the chapter received its charter from the Fraternity's national headquarters.  The graduate chapter, Alpha Upsilon Lambda, is noted for its long-standing scholarship program and its community service projects that includes collaboration with the YMCA, Headstart, March of Dimes, Rebuilding Homes for the Elderly with Christmas in April, and Boy Scouts of America.  Currently, it is the largest chapter in the Alabama District.
